sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the elder child of the Italian born Francesco "Frank" Stallone Jr, a hairdresser, and Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother is an actor musician and hairdresser. Due to complications during the birth of his daughter, Sylvester's lower left side was crippled. This led to his famed "snarling", slurred speech and distinctive look. Stallone has spent a portion of his first years in foster care as a result of the volatile relationship between his parents. The couple eventually divorced. Stallone trained in drama at the American College in Switzerland before making the move to the University of Miami. Stallone quit school to pursue acting in New York City.
