Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is anchorperson on the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, who covered each of the US House and Senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and other congressional activities, including negotiations to increase the debt ceiling for federal government as well as the super committee's discussions. As general assignment reporters she's covered events such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 as well as the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource. She worked as an CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
