Dua Lipa was born 22nd August, 1995 in London United Kingdom. The model signed with Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and released a self-titled first album in 2017. The album reached number. three on the U.K. Charts. There were eight songs released such as Be the First I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Dua Lipa was born London on the 22nd of August, 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. Her family tree can be tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and an older brother called Gjin. Lipa's father, the guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan the band Oda, influenced her musically. When she was at the house, her dad would play original compositions, along with songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa began singing around the age of five. In the age of nine she learned how to sing. Lipa has covered If I Don't Have You as well as Beautiful by Christina Aguilera on YouTube. In 2014 Lipa was signed to a contract with Warner Bros. Records. New Love, Lipa's debut single, was released in August 2015.
